double acting
The RM mini slide is a compact block cylinder with 4 integrated guide rods which are also in the position to compensate side loads and moments. Threads can be provided in the front block for fixing of the working loads or tools.
The RM mini slides can certainly be delivery equipped with position monitoring by limit switches or inductive sensors.
The RS hydraulic slide is a compact hydraulic block cylinder with 4 laterally-mounted guiding rods for compensation of high side loads and torque loads. A front block is mounted at the guide rods and the piston rod. Deburring, pressing and punching tools (working loads) or other mounting parts can be fixed at this block.
With the cylinder tube design, strokes of up to 200 mm can be realised. Also longer strokes are available on request For monitoring of the stroke ends, the RS hydraulic slide can be equipped with two potential-free mechanical limit switches.
Stroke end cushioning of the hydraulic slide
Cushioning at the rear (piston side) is standard. Cushioning at the front (piston rod side) is optionally available. The stroke end cushioning protects the slide against damage in the case of high loads. Additional mounting of stops and cushioning elements is not required.
Comparison
Compared with the RM mini slide, the RS hydraulic slide is larger, but can absorb higher forces and torques due to larger guides. In other words, the deflection due to the working load of the RS hydraulic slide is less than that of the RM mini slide.
Maximum admissible piston speed
The maximum admissible piston speed of the RM mini slide is 25 cm/s. The piston speed of the RS hydraulic speed is twice as high with 50 cm/s.
