2.1400 Spring clamping cylinders

Applications
Unpressurised long-term clamping of moveable machine parts, dies, fixtures, pallets and workpieces


Function:
The force of the spring clamping cylinder is mechanically transmitted to the tie rod or the clamping spindle by a pre loaded Belleville spring assembly. The hydraulic connection is only required for unclamping the clamping cylinder.

Hollow-piston cylinders 3.1403 , spring clamping

Manual positioning of the element on the die clamping edge.
Unclamping by the application of hydraulic pressure to the piston and clamping by spring force. By means of the T-bolt the die is clamped against the clamping surface of the press ram or bed.

Applications

  • unpressurised long-term clamping of dies or fixtures on press beds and rams
  • when the available space is limited
